George R.R. Martin Rips Hollywood HACKS For Disrespecting Canon!

A Song of Ice and Fire Author and writer for Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon George R.R. Martin is taking it to hacks in Hollywood once again. Speaking specifically on adaptations, George took to his blog to make the point that if you "Ignore canon, and the world you’ve created comes apart like tissue paper."

Whatever is established in the lore, respect the work of those before you. Concessions and changes can be made, but as long as they are consistent in the world you are working in.

He is right once again. Now if he could finish his own work, perhaps there would be something to critique first hand... It's only been 13 years since A Dance With Dragons...
