Babylon the Great

Babylon constitutes false worship. Babylon had its beginnings after the flood. Nimrod, a mighty hunter, joining with his followers, decided to set up their own system of worship, and rebel against God who promised there would not be another flood to destroy the earth. The spirit of rebellion stemming from Satan will be with fallen humanity until the second coming of Christ. But even so, God is calling us to worship Him, and obey Him through the grace of His Son Jesus Christ.
