Hulk Vs. Wolverine: World War – Trailer (2025) Hugh Jackman, Mark Ruffalo

Jackman's Wolverine return is massive on a lot of levels, partially due to the fact that the world was convinced that 2017's Logan was the final time he would put on the claws as the iconic Marvel hero. The actor has even donned a comic book-accurate costume for Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine, drawing further fan hype as something thought previously impossible becomes reality. In this same vein, a concept like a potential Wolverine vs. Hulk clash is something that would massively benefit the franchise.

Having iconic characters like Wolverine and Hulk finally share the screen was something the MCU audience could only dream of for years when the X-Men rights were with 20th Century Fox. But now that the mutant mythology is fully part of Marvel Studios, there is no reason why The Multiverse Saga shouldn't embrace showdowns like Hulk vs. Wolverine down the line. It would also genuinely be interesting to see which of the two would actually end up victorious in this live-action Marvel landscape.
