Tonight I am taking you with me to see the Silversun Pickups at Jannus Live. Jannus Live is a historic Saint Petersburg Staple which only became a venue in 1984. The location was originally called Jannus Landing built in 1926 as an open-air theatre. I had always heard as well that prior to that it was a landing location for small aircrafts flying into Saint Petersburg. The first mainstream artist to play there was The Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1987. Jannus is a very intimate place to see a show and has always been my personal favorite venue.
