West Yorkshire Police said the incident happened after officers received multiple reports of off-road bikes being driven dangerously in the Bradford South area. Shocking footage on social media showed a group of males on quad bikes and off-road bikes riding in the Tong Street area where the collision between the quad bike and officer, who was deploying a spiked strip, took place. In a full statement issued on Monday, a police spokesperson said: "Police received multiple reports of off-road bikes being driven dangerous in the Bradford South area at the weekend."
