Several killed by gunfire near mosque in Oman: police

Video released on Tuesday (July 16) showed people running as shots were heard in Oman's capital, Muscat. At least four people were killed and several wounded by gunfire in the vicinity of a mosque, the Omani police said on Tuesday - a rare breach of security in one of the most stable countries in the Middle East. Reuters was able to confirm the location but not the date of the video.
