This video I expose you to a little bit about BASH (Bourne Again Shell) scripting and how powerful it is to automate things for us. This is an easy programming language that Linux understands, and you can learn how to write your own simple scripts very quickly.

That said, I also include a couple free BASH scripts for you to use/modify/share, these scripts automate the installation of about three dozen applications on a fresh install of Linux. This comes in extremely handy for when I'm setting up computers for clients, I take 3-4 hours worth of work and instead I let a BASH script that I made do all of it for me while I do other things. Very handy, and very easy to modify to suit your own needs.
