Calls for violence against people with an anti-woke opinion are becoming increasingly common within the progressive DEI crowd, like Alyssa Mercante and her ilk. But the difference is these people are actually unhinged. Games journalist Ryan Easby, who has freelanced for various outlets including NME, PCGamesN, The Escapist, The Gamer, and Gayming Magazine, declared that Mark Kern aka Grummz should never have a moment of safety or peace for his entire life.

In response to Kotaku Senior Editor Alyssa Mercante accusing Kern of lying regarding Call of Duty including transgender-themed bullets as part of its “Pride” month gift pack, Easby declared that Kern should never know safety or peace in his entire life.

Easby reacted to Mercante’s post accusing Grummz of lying by writing, “He should never know a moment of safety or peace in his entire life I think.” Grummz responded, “Dude, I tweet about video games. Why does this bother you so much?”

This isn't the first time Easby has called for violence against Grummz. Back in April, he posted, “Soft launching my campaign to kick Mark Kern in the balls.” His call for violence was echoed by numerous individuals in the video game industry. John Phipps, who hosts Super Deluxe GamesCast, posted, “It’s actually based, I’d donate.” Former Riot Games Senior Concept Artist and current Art Director at Easy Games Michael Maurino also approved the call to assault Kern, writing, “agreed this is a-ok.”

Easby is no stranger to making unhinged comments such as these. Back in March, he posted, “If there’s one thing to take away from this last week, it’s that gamers don’t deserve video games. Just send them to a construction yard or something instead.” He has also repeatedly claimed you cannot be racist towards white people, writing on March 8th, “It’s weird, if you were truly based you’d know it’s unequivocally and provable that racism against white people doesn’t exist, no matter how much a mob of angry community noters want you to think.”

What do you make of Easby declaring that Grummz should never have a moment of safety or peace?
