104

Pastor Michael Foster from East River Church, Ohio joins the show to discuss the church’s role in the community, local governance, and why some pastors avoid political topics. Foster shares how his church promotes practical involvement through business creation, land ownership, and financial education. The conversation highlights the church's potential to effect change and make welfare programs obsolete by ministering to the poor. Despite cultural challenges, Foster remains optimistic about the church's transformative power in society.

Michael Foster studied history at Northern Kentucky University and graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He has served as a youth pastor, church planter, and associate pastor. Currently he is the senior pastor of East River Church in Batavia, Ohio
