Opsin/ST6 - Thermal Target Test 3 Dry Ice

This test is with a smaller dry ice block - 10x10x1, in a bag with a hole cut in it get as much heat transfer between the ice and steel as possible. Evening ambient was 85F, morning ambient was 75F. Very humid all night, with some light rain that started just before I arrived in the morning. The test target quickly dropped to 60F, which produced a nice target effect on the body of the target, but not the upper head section.

Overall the result was better than the first test, but I'm still struggling with the holder design. The bag needs to be higher up and hold the dry ice higher so that as it melts it remains in the middle of the target. About a pound of dry ice was left in the morning, so duration is still good, particularly if I can do better on insulation.
