FBI Briefing on Trump Rally Shooting
The FBI and Pennsylvania State Police held a news conference on the shooting that occurred at a Trump rally earlier in the evening. They said the incident was an “assassination attempt” on former President Donald Trump, who suffered an injury on his right ear. The shooter was killed by the Secret Service and later identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, but a motive was not established. Also, a rally attendee was killed, and two other spectators were critically injured.
