Video footage has captured the moment a gunman open fires from the roof of a building near Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.

The FBI said it was treating the incident as an assassination attempt.

It has identified the shooter as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks - he was shot and killed by the Secret Service.
