Mike Marts - Executive VP and Editor in Chief of Mad Cave Studios stops by to talk 2024 and beyond!

Mike joins Mad Cave in 2022 after having built a reputation by striving for -and delivering on– excellence. He is a seasoned industry insider with over 30 years experience in the comic book and entertainment business.

He has edited some of the most critically-acclaimed and highest-selling series of the last two decades, and has spearheaded several of the industry’s most popular franchises including Batman, X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy. Mike’s previous posts include serving as an Executive Editor for Marvel Comics, Group Editor for DC Comics and the Editor-in-Chief for AfterShock Comics.

Today, Mad Cave is celebrating their 10 year anniversary and they are coming in hot with titles like Gatchaman, Flash Gordon, Dick Tracy, Deer Editor, Eden Frost, When the Blood is Dried and so much more!!

In addition to the explosion of titles currently being released, two new imprints where added to ensure Mad Cave's ability to continue to supply great stories to people of all ages. In 2022 Papercutz, publishing titles for middle grade readers. In 2023 Mad Cave came right back and purchased Maverick which publishes titles for younger readers.
