During a virtual meeting on Friday with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, President Joe Biden aimed to address concerns from Democratic lawmakers but ended up complicating matters.

He was an hour late to the call and deviated from the plan that only two members could ask questions, allowing more to participate.

However, some lawmakers, like Reps. Gabe Vasquez and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, were prevented from speaking despite using the “raise hand” feature.

Rep. Mike Levin, although not scheduled to speak, urged Biden to step down as the nominee, raising concerns about his age and fitness for the role.

Biden acknowledged these concerns, stressing the importance of demonstrating his capabilities, NOTUS has reported.
