The event began with a slight delay in front of the Garden of Remembrance gate. In the first part, a march took place towards Rotunda Hospital, where participants expressed their dissatisfaction vocally in front of the Sinn Féin office, with many shouting their discontent. The crowd then returned to the Garden of Remembrance, where speeches commenced, primarily featuring candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The speeches were coordinated by North Dublin councilor Malachy Steenson, who recently ran for the European Parliament. After the speeches, an Irish piper played a patriotic song on the uilleann pipes, followed by the Irish national anthem sung by a woman along with the protest participants. Nearly all participants carried Irish symbols, such as flags, and entire families with children attended. It is noteworthy that despite the presence of individuals with far-right views, no incidents occurred.
