Negotiators in the Middle East are reportedly making substantial progress towards securing a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, with one senior U.S. official saying a deal was "within reach."

China is hitting back at NATO after the alliance condemned their economic support of Russia, accusing the U.S. and NATO of sowing seeds of discord across Asia.

Russia is threatening to respond after the U.S. reached a deal at the NATO summit to deploy long-range missiles, including ones with hypersonic capabilities, in Germany.

In our 'Back of the Brief' segment, China is once again stepping up their harassment of Taiwan in the South China Sea, conducting their largest aerial military incursion into Taiwanese airspace so far this year.
