r/exLutheran | WELS vs Apache Traditions

It’s hard for me to see how this could be continued to be tolerated today, especially with the renewed interest in religious freedoms. I also have the privilege to say this not living in a federally-designated area with a history of my culture being oppressed. I hope something happens to remedy this - whether it’s resources for the Apache, negative coverage to force the WELS to publicly back down, something!

Also, it’s crazy that all the WELS has to do is say something is “demonic” without saying what their parameters are for determining that.
