This home cinema projector was a rather pleasant find! Less expensive than I used to know projectors to cost, it works easily and conveniently by turning on within seconds instead of having to boot up and warm up, and it also turns off just as fast. The bulb brightness is good for watching movies, video and TV indoors in the evening, even with electric lights switched on in the room. It's not quite strong enough to work with bright sunlight shining into the room during the day though. It needs a bit of darkness. Connect your computer to play any unsupported formats that the projector itself won't play back, through HDMI cable, RCA av cable or VGA computer cable. It does play back sound, but you can use a stereo sound cable to connect to a better speaker. One drawback is that it doesn't seem to focus perfectly on all areas of the screen at the same time, presumably because you might be projecting from lower down upwards on the wall, or maybe the lens is just not that good, I don't know which yet. So keep that in mind if you're planning on using it for text presentations. Probably won't work that well for text that's written small. But of course for normal film playback you won't notice if the edges are slightly out of focus. All in all, I rather like this projector. Just what I always thought I needed to have a nice home theater viewing experience but without forking over so much cash that I feel I have reservations about it.
