Trinity Bostic was reported missing and assumed to be a runaway until her body was found near a wooded area off a state highway. A 22-year-old nursing student was found dead and wrapped in sheets in a car at a Mississippi graveyard on July 3. Lauren Johansen’s longtime boyfriend, Bricen Rivers, was released on bond days before Johansen’s death after allegedly beating her while they were on vacation together in Tennessee. A man called 911 and claimed a woman suffered from an overdose at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. When police arrived, paramedics rushed Larissa Garcia to the emergency room and determined she had no substances in her blood. Doctors suspected Garcia had been a victim of battery and strangulation. The mother of two was declared brain dead and passed away one week after the assault. Detectives soon uncovered who’s name was on the room Garcia came out of — Army veteran Jason Kendall. A 13-year-old girl was fatally shot during an altercation at the Alderwood mall food court in Lynnwood Wednesday evening.

Lynnwood police said the incident began around 6:04 p.m., with an altercation between two groups of people. During the altercation, one teenage boy pulled out a gun and fired at the other group. However, the bullet hit an uninvolved 13-year-old girl who was not connected to either group.
