Self-Important TN State Rep Tries to Bully Constitutionalist - Elitists Love to Disarm Plebs

Tennessee State Representative Bob Freeman runs a multi-billion dollar business started by his father, gets a paycheck from the taxpayers, "serves" the public while running the business at the same time (is this even possible and not a conflict of interest?), and wants to make it harder for people to own and carry the guns they choose in the public places they go. His elitist bully comes out almost immediately when we talk about Constitution Carry in the Capitol (public) buildings.

Watch him try to offend Shaun Kranish by making fun of what he's wearing (real wool tricorn hat which is KeepAndBear's calling card, and premium soft body armor). Since Bob Freeman didn't have any logical, factual, and moral arguments, he again tries to provoke Shaun by saying "If you had a knife and you came at me, I would take it from you and smack you. But even someone like you could damage me with a firearm." He then laughs and says Shaun isn't dangerous with a knife, repeats the "smack you" line. When called on this and asked what he means by "someone like you", he tries to cover his ass by saying "a human."

Does Bob Freeman think small people, women, handicapped people, etc shouldn't be able to defend themselves against large men like him? I guess he likes having special status afforded by his size? All-around it seems he possesses an elitist attitude that being a male - a large one - having money, being in government somehow makes him special with special rights. For gun reforms all he could mention was red flag laws (today's popular attempt to chisel away at guns being a right by turning them into something the government can take away on a whim) and a waiting period?

While citizens in other states can open carry even rifles into the Capitol as they please, Tennessee is busy paying hordes of State Troopers to sit around metal detectors, x-ray scanners, and desks looking up permits. They require a permit to carry a gun into the most public building of all in the state! So much for "Constitution Carry" in Tennessee.

Will Tennessee citizens put up with its elected officials lording over their constituents by turning the right to bear arms into a restricted privilege? There is a big push for constitutional reform in gun laws in Tennessee. Why can't citizens protect themselves without paying money, filling out paperwork, taking a safety course and exam online, mailing, waiting, signing, and most of all ASKING? So much for a right - it has been converted into a privilege. Who is serving who?
