Arkansas Election Commission hearings on Electronic Signatures, final details on process

The Arkansas Election Commission held hearings on the rule that bans Electronic Signature usage for voter registration. The leftist group Get Loud, Arkansas tried to create a rally to oppose this rule. Less than 40 folks showed up to give statements.

The overall theme by those opposed to electronic voting is that it harms those in rural areas, those too poor to drive to a voting location, & those with medical disabilities.

In reality, anyone unable to register to vote, can make an arrangement with the secretary of state or their local county. You can also have someone obtain a voter registration form that can be mailed in. Anyone unable to get to a polling location, can obtain an absentee ballot. If there is mismatch regarding a signature, that ballot is made into a provisional ballot for review, not thrown away.
