Making a Medusa head to print onto T shirts and Tote Bags etc.
i sculpted the Medusa head in Blender3D as well as a few snakes then spent quite a while positioning them all.
Rendered out as a transparent PNG with a single white light from above.
Opened in Affinity Photo and used Levels and Posterize to get it black and white, then spent an hour or two painting details and filling small holes etc that were not needed - then I painted the eyes!!
Opened in LightBurn and cut it out from a large piece of card.
Superglued this to a plastic backing board.
Splodged paint onto it, placed on the bag, added cover, rollered it and peeled it off to reveal the design - it BLOODY WORKED!!
Added my RetroVandal logo and went to make this video ;-)
