[00:00] How To Up-Pot Cannabis Seedlings From Peat Pellets To Solo Cups - Step By Step

[01:32] Step 1: Get Prepared And Get Your Materials Ready.
Our Setup / Materials List:
Seedlings in Jiffy Peat Pellets
Gentle Seedling Soil
Bottled or Distilled Water
Solo Cups
Lighter
Grow Light
Heat / Humidity Control

[02:25] Step 2: Make Drainage Holes In The Solo Cup - You can use a lighter

[02:47] Step 3: Pre-moisten Your Seedling Soil - It should be wet, not saturated, not dry.
Here is the "GrowDaddyTV Seedling Soil Recipe":
2/3 ProMix
1/3 Compost (mostly worm castings)
ADD
1.5 tbsp/gallon 2-8-4
1.5 tbsp/gallon 4-4-4
“cook” for a month in the garage

[03:52] Step 4: Fill Solo Cup Part-Way With Soil -
Decide how high you want it to sit - you can bury the stems as deep as you like

[03:57] Step 5: Set The Seedling In The Solo Cup -
Do NOT peel off the netting - you could rip a root

[04:30] Step 6: Fill-Up The Rest Of The Solo Cup With More Soil
(If you have several plants, try to get them all the same height)

[05:00] Step 7: Arrange Under Grow Light -
Seedlings “want” about 200 PAR - this is why it’s good to keep them level

[05:14] Step 8: Maintain Temperature & Humidity (VPD):
Seedlings like to be 70-75 ° F / 21-24° C & 80% RH (relative humidity).
When You're Finished, monitor their growth and up-pot when their roots are
well-developed in the solo cups… We’ll show you how to check that next week!
