Formula One: Built to Win (NES - 1990) playthrough, part 7/14 - Brazil, San Marino, Monaco, Mexico

Now flush with cash after my slot machine winnings, I fully upgrade my F1 car. The first couple races can be won with what I could have upgraded prior to going to Vegas, but they quickly become unwinnable or not possible to even place in the money without being fully upgraded, meaning upgrading the car will require going back to the non F1 races to build up funds, if you didn't enter the F1 part of the game with probably around $1M. By the 3rd or 4th race, I don't think it's possible to attain the pole position. I run a practice lap at Brazil simply to show the feature and that you don't have to replenish any Nitro used. The first four races give me little trouble, winning them all on my first attempt.

This is one of my favorite racing/driving games. It was actually the first game I bought for my NES after buying the console from a cousin in 1989.

Played on a front loading NES, running it through a RetroTINK 5X-Pro to an Elgato HD60 X capture card. Recorded in OBS Studio.
