Guacamole

This guacamole is perfect with chips or any crunchy snack, as a spread on sandwiches, or as a topping for any protein or meal.

Ingredients:

✅ 3 large avocados
✅ 1 large handful fresh cilantro (1/3 cup finely chopped)
✅ 1/2 large red onion, finely diced
✅ 1 jalapeño, finely diced
✅ 2 garlic cloves, minced
✅ Juice of 1 lime
✅ 1/2 tsp cumin
✅ 2 generous pinches of salt

How to Make It:

Prepare Ingredients: Store avocados and vegetables in the fridge for at least 2 hours before starting.

Chop Cilantro: Finely chop a large handful of fresh cilantro to yield about 1/3 cup. Add it to a board or large bowl.

Add Veggies: Finely dice 1/2 large red onion, 1 jalapeño pepper (remove seeds if you prefer less spice), and mince 2 garlic cloves. Add these to the cilantro.

Prepare Avocados: Cut 3 large avocados, remove the pits and skins, and add the flesh to the bowl with the other ingredients.

Add Lime Juice: Squeeze the juice of 1 lime over the mixture.

Season and Mash: Add 1/2 tsp cumin and a couple of generous pinches of salt. Mash the mixture to your desired consistency. For a chunkier texture, mash lightly; for a smoother texture, mash more thoroughly.

Serve: Enjoy immediately or chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving. Enjoy with your favorite snack.
