God told Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that all families or nations of the earth would be blessed “in thy seed.” He also pronounced a blessing upon them that blessed Abraham and a curse upon those who cursed him. Many conflate this to mean that God is currently blessing those who bless the nation Israel today. Is this true? Is God using the modern nation Israel to bless the countries of the world? And how would you bless the nation of Israel today? Is it by sending weapons and money? If the US Government sends cash and military aid to Israel, does that count to us as a blessing individually? Yes, pray for Israel. Yes, pray God restores them to be His people. Yes, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. However, we must acknowledge the entirety of Scripture and prophesy, not pick and choose what we want to believe. You can support modern Israel all you want but do not expect a blessing to come from it. Blessings related to God’s people will not be restored until they turn back to Him. Only then will He acknowledge them as His people and a different gospel will be preached during that time, the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved through Him alone!
