A Moscow court has ordered the arrest in absentia of Yulia Navalnaya, widow of late Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny, her spokesperson Kira Yarmysh announced on Tuesday.

The Basmanny District Court accused Navalnaya of participating in an extremist organization and placed her on an international wanted list, according to Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.

Navalnaya currently resides outside Russia, CNN has reported.
