Our government is broken. Anyone with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a brain to think can see it. Sadly, the political news leans left or right. News anchors on the left spin the news to point out the folly of the right. Meanwhile, news anchors on the right point out the idiocy of the left. Engineers can evaluate problems from an objective point of view, considering viable solutions to those problems. The political issue could be immigration, the economy, inflation, low wages, high unemployment, border security, transgender rights, LGBTQ rights, healthcare, green energy, social security, climate change, foreign relations, military spending, oil exploration, the FED, voting integrity, ethnic division, Medicare, Medicaid, ESG, welfare, or any other political challenge. Engineers evaluate the problem rationally and come up with solutions that fix the problem.
