On July 4, 2024, Colonel (retired) Lawrence Wilkerson will joined us for our monthly screening of JFK's Peace Speech. Col. Wilkerson will offered remarks and responded to Q&A after the screening.

From 2005-2022, Lawrence Wilkerson was the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Government and Public Policy at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Prior to his professorship he was chief of staff to secretary of state Colin Powell. He served 31 years in the US Army. His final military assignments were Special Assistant to then-chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff General Colin Powell and, later, Deputy Director and Director of the U.S. Marine Corps War College at Quantico, Virginia. Today he is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Eisenhower Media Network and co-founder with Major General Dennis Laich (USAR, Ret) of the All-Volunteer Force Forum.
