Hike to Cathedral Peak, Santa Catalina Mtn., Tucson, AZ

I'm happy to post this video for a hiking friend, Kaori Hashimoto, who recently climbed Cathedral Peak with two of her friends: Bill Bender and Denny Teusch. Her photography was too good to pass up, and it was a good trip down memory lane for my trek up there about 10 years ago. Cathedral Peak is a long and difficult day even for the most fit and experienced hikers, topped off with a final, rope-assisted, 100-foot scramble up a sheer rock face, which requires class 4 climbing moves. The video contains some good beta for hikers considering this challenging hike.
