En julio de 1979, el periodista chileno Francisco Herrero se dirigía a Puerto Rico para cubrir los Juegos Panamericanos. Sin embargo, lo que en un comienzo sería una breve "pasadita" a Nicaragua para captar los movimientos de la revolución sandinista, se terminó convirtiendo en un registro histórico sobre la interna del proceso.

40 años después, CHV Noticias y CNN Chile estrenan por primera vez este material censurado por la dictadura chilena.
