Michigan's Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior

The newspaper has named it the Best U.S. National Park and called it an "unexpected winner." The WSJ used crowd sizes, quality and quantity of hiking routes, availability of campsites, and access to other activities including horseback riding and fishing. Isle Royale National Park is only accessible by ferry, private boat, or seaplane.
