Wednesday, July 10th, our friends Kevin and Janelle Batts will be on with us to talk about their new film Trans.Oklahoma. The Batts have spent over a year interviewing detransitioners in Oklahoma, editing footage and making this movie as stunning as their last, award winning documentary, "Saving Clayton". Sadly, Rodeo Theater, the venue with which the Batts had worked to premier the movie on June 28th, canceled the showing just days before the premiere. Why? Because the TOLERANT alphabet rainbow squad called and complained that the movie was an anti-LGBT film, and as such, would not create a 'safe space' for LGBT people.
