British Prime Minister Keir Starmer aims to mend relationships both domestically and internationally.

Starmer claimed he would also want to enhance the U.K.'s "botched trade deal with the European Union," billing himself as a "immediate reset" with the regional governments of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales during a visit Sunday to Edinburgh.

Referring to the agreement reached following Brexit, "I do think that we can get a much better deal than the botched deal that (former Prime Minister) Boris Johnson saddled the U.K. with."
