I, Sunflower Chong Sun Wah, have to thank Lee Kuan Yew for being who he was that made me who I am, a woman with great courage, confidence and determination to succeed. If LKY thought that he was smart, my mother said there are many people smarter than him. Art must be part of living because if children have a foundation in art, they will turn out to be good human beings. I kept pushing this belief through my architectural proposals to the Singapore government even though I was chased out of their offices. I was told their bosses asked them not to speak to me.

However, when people bring me down, I will always come back stronger than ever because what I am doing is PURE. Striving for greater humanity shows my true love for God. Unfortunately, the Singapore government could not see that and instead questioned my ulterior motives behind my back.
