FOR the past couple of years, Barrie and Scott Drewitt-Barlow have been building a multi-million pound mansion and today they are revealing it to their children. The couple wanted to ‘bring a bit of Malibu to the Essex countryside’ and the home is complete with a pool, sauna, car showroom, stables and aquarium. Scott said: “You name it, we’ve got it.” The family are no strangers to judgement about their lifestyle and spending. They regularly receive comments criticising them for ‘spoiling’ their children. Barrie said: “We have a lot of love for our kids, we just like to buy them nice things as well. Just like you would do if you could afford to do it.” Scott added: “Anyone that comes your way and say: ‘oh you’re just spoiling them’, they would do exactly the same it’s just they didn’t get off their a*** and actually do anything about their life… It’s just pure jealousy.” As well as showing the kids the new house, Barrie and Scott have a surprise for Aspen and his wife Pim.
