Toyota City's B29 Crash Site and Memorial

3 January 1945 - US B29's take off from Saipan to bomb the docks and military targets of Nagoya City, Japan. The leading lady is shot down - all crew except 1 are killed. The survivor - becomes a POW in Tokyo's infamous OMORI POW camp. The village - years later, erects a friendship monument - to honor the dead.
