Northern Kentucky Project: Wildlife Encounter - Eastern Box Turtle pt. 1

This video was the first encounter for the box turtle series, posted out of order so my apologies. Here are some links of the common box turtle (Terrapene carolina). Here are some useful links for identification and general knowledge. Please note that the ornate box turtle can look similar, but the ornate box turtle (Terrapene ornate) has the same sunburst patterns on its plastron, generally is smaller and has a darker black coloration with brighter yellows or oranges, and is generally further west and does not have a known range as far to the east as Kentucky yet.
