Tepache: A Healthy Fermented Pineapple Drink

I love this drink! Its refreshing and a tad sweet. Loaded with probiotics and digestive enzymes. Only takes a few ingredients and only takes a few days!

Fermented Pineapple Drink Recipe:
Pineapple Rind
One cup sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup, monk fruit etc)
3 Cloves
1 Cinnamon Stick
3 Inches of Ginger
8 Cups of Water
Optional: Alcohol Yeast
Put all ingredients in glass jar. Put airlock and ferment for 2-3 days. If you don't have an airlock put a coffee filter or cheese cloth lid on, secure with rubber band. The next day, scrape off any foam that has formed on the top and ferment another day or two. Filter and enjoy!
Do not heat, this will destroy the probiotics and enzymes
