Plants vs Zombies 2 - Zomboss - Seedium Showcase - Spear-Mint - July 2024

Plant of the Week - Spear-Mint - was offered between July 7, 2024 through July 14, 2024.

Spear-Mint is a member of the Spear-Mint family - is a Mint.
Spear-Mint costs 0 Sun.
When planted, Spear-Mint drops five (5) Spikerocks on the right side of the lawn. (+1 Spikerock on levels 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10.)
These Spikerocks are level 5. (+1 level at Spearmint level 2, 4, 7, 9 and 10.)
Spear-mint will boost its family of plants for six (6) seconds. (+1 second per level.)
The Spear-mint family consists of:

• Bloomerang
• Bramble Bush
• Cactus
• Dartichoke
• Heath Seekers
• Homing Thistle
• Laser Bean
• Pokra
• Spikerock
• Spikeweed
• SeaFlora
• Bamboo Spartan

Commentary:
Five spikerocks at the beginning of a level? Use a plant food to replenish Spear-Mint and get a couple of columns to start a level.
Need some extra Sun? Dig up those Spikerocks and get some Sun. Although this gives diminishing returns as Spear-Mint levels up, it is still Sun.
There really isn't much to dislike about Spear-Mint. One doesn't even need Spear-Mint plants to get a good outcome from planting this.

Bottom Line:
If Spear-Mint is so good, why isn't it played more? It is because there are so many good plants and Mints now that a solid Mint can simply be overlooked.

Perks = Shields / Chill / Boss Buster (Damages Zomboss)

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
