Zelensky Announces New Maritime Strategy for Ukraine

In a recent video message, President Zelensky announced the development of a new Ukrainian Maritime Strategy, set to be approved by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. He emphasized that the war has altered the balance of power in the Black Sea region and asserted that the Russian fleet will no longer dominate these waters. The new strategy will focus on Ukraine's technological advancements and partnerships to defend its maritime interests, transport routes, and those of its allies.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian Navy, defense and security structures, and the defense industry for their contributions. He also highlighted recent efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, with significant advancements made this week and continued efforts planned for the next. The President emphasized ongoing collaborations within the air defense and F16 coalitions, particularly with the United States, to ensure Ukraine's and its partners' security.
