Italy NOW! Volcanic Chaos: Etna and Stromboli Erupt Simultaneously

A red-level alert has been declared on the island of Sicily, Italy, due to the simultaneous eruptions of two volcanoes - Etna and Stromboli.

Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, located near Catania on the eastern coast of the island, has shown continuously increasing volcanic activity over the past three weeks. On July 4, a powerful strombolian eruption occurred, ejecting lava fountains and sending a volcanic cloud over 3 miles into the sky.

The city of Catania and the villages on the southeastern side of the volcano were affected. Roads, sidewalks, and cars in a significant part of the city and province were covered with a layer of ash.

Etna's activity led to the temporary closure of Catania Airport. The runway of the local airport became unusable due to heavy ashfall. Additionally, two sectors of airspace were closed to flights. Arrivals and departures of planes were suspended.

The mayor of Catania issued a decree banning the movement of two-wheeled vehicles (bicycles and motorcycles) for two days and limiting the speed of vehicles to 30 kilometers per hour on all streets in the municipal area.

Stromboli, a volcano located off the northern coast of Sicily, also became active simultaneously. On July 4, during the day, the volcano released a pyroclastic flow that quickly spread along the Sciara del Fuoco. As seen in footage released by the Institute of Geophysics and the Italian Fire Service, the flow reached the shoreline and spread several hundred meters into the sea.

Currently, constant activity is expected at the volcano, with about 12-15 explosions per hour. The area around Stromboli is under surveillance.

Earth has entered a stage of the "new volcanic epoch," characterized by extremely rapid changes in volcanic activity. These changes are caused by the cyclicality of climate catastrophes that occur every 12,000 years.

Unfortunately, most scientists do not consider the problem comprehensively and do not realize the scale of the developing catastrophe. Simultaneous eruptions of volcanoes and supervolcanoes create conditions incompatible with life. However, there is still a chance to avoid such a scenario. Information on the necessary measures to achieve this was presented at the international forum "Global Crisis. The Responsibility."
