Recently in my bible reading, I read through Obadiah, and it took me a month to sit with it and adjust myself. I didn't even speak to anyone about it, as I came up on it in the 4th month of the slaughter in Gaza. I haven't been back there since. I had a difficult time with it as my prayers and thoughts are with the Palestinian people every day, and the book of Obadiah is talking about them in this slaughter like it's part of the plan. It was so difficult to receive, but I understand it better now. Watching the Palestinian people live and embrace martyrdom has helped in so many ways. They may serve Allah but how they love ️ him is more than I've ever seen in "Christian" circles. It reminds me of the scripture that says Unless a kernel of wheat falls and dies it abides alone but if it dies it bears much fruit. JOHN 12:24

The slaughter in Gaza is awful but from what I see in scripture and with my own eyes, I can see it bearing much fruit. As a child of the most high I've learned so much from them and it has prepared me for what is likely coming to all of us before long in this world. I pray I’m as gracious as the Palestinian people have been in the face of such tremendous adversity.

The resolution on self-determination calls on the international community not to recognize Israeli annexation. It “calls upon all States to ensure their obligations of non-recognition, non-aid or assistance with regard to the serious breaches of peremptory norms of international law by Israel.”

She charged that the council is biased for attacking only Israel when dealing with the conflict.
