Dog wants to steal some treats, but accidentally starts a fire instead

One good boy in Colorado Springs was apparently sniffing out something tasty to snack on in the kitchen when he accidentally turned the stove on, which quickly resulted in a fire. Luckily, the good boy’s humans were at home and were woken up by their smart home alert system. They managed to extinguish the flames before firefighters arrived.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department said that one of the homeowners was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported to people or pets.
