Airborne troops use motorized vehicles for logistics support

Airborne logistics specialists from the Dnepr group of troops use motorized transport to deliver water, food, communications equipment, ammunition and fuel and lubricants to forward units on the left bank of the Dnieper. Fast movement on ATVs reduces the time required to overcome open terrain, minimizes the risk of attack by enemy drones, and for assault units it also facilitates breakthroughs of enemy defenses and allows them to attack from the flanks.

This mobile method of delivering water and food is used in cases where it is not possible to provide it with conventional transport due to heavy artillery fire and various enemy UAVs along access roads. In particular, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces widely use fpv drones against any vehicle moving in the direction of our forward positions.

Equipment needed by paratroopers on the front line is loaded from a warehouse. After loading into the ATV, the delivery groups move to the so-called ‘zero’. You have to move through forests and open areas at speeds of more than 80 kilometers per hour.

The ATV, due to its small size and maneuverability, allows you to overcome forests and off-road conditions, while remaining virtually invisible to the enemy. Motorized transport is also used by military personnel of assault detachments to carry out assault combat operations, transport ammunition and food to held strongholds.
