Doing a status check on my anti cloud in my basement.

There is software that exists in the debian based version of Linux that will send you notifications of the status of your storage server you are using but I prefer the analog method of actually walking up to the physical hardware and checking it myself.

I am listening for any strange noises that could be coming from the hard drives, I am seeing if any of the disk enclosure lights are flashing red which would indicate an issue with a hard drive and I am doing a temp status and core load check with the processor to see how much of it is being actually used to backup what I hold sacred.

The rest of it is just completing the task of making everything 9 of a kind. I keep one disk offsite and it gets changed out daily. Each hard drive is configured with ext4 which the current version of Mac OS and Windows 11 do not recognizes as a funtional file format. If in the event someone were to break into my house and steal my anti cloud, the disks would automatically be erased by both Mac OS and Windows 11.
