Bass Fishing Spring Tips (Use Light Kayaks to Fish Secret Areas...)

The Minimalist Fisherman: In the Field focuses on bass fishing tips and techniques that will help you catch more fish all throughout the Midwest. Everything we write about - we test.

If it's good - we keep it. If it's not - we minimize it!

This outing took place the 2nd week of April. Small water usually warms up before large water. This was true last week at Snapping Turtle Pond, and it's also true in small, hidden backwaters with untouched bass that are only accessible by carrying in a light kayak. Even a few degrees can boost activity - and bites.
