CCP Hints at Retaliation Against EU’s EV Tariffs

07/06/2024 Reuters: In retaliation for EU’s tariffs on its electrical vehicle exports, China’s Ministry of Commerce said on Friday (July 5th) that it would launch an anti-dumping investigation into European brandy producers and also referred to another probe into EU pork imports. CCP officials have said they don't want another trade war, but will take all necessary steps to protect Chinese firms.
