Pastor Steve Cioccolanti Talks Robert Morris Allegations Scandal Says "Touch Not the Lord Anointed" in regard to Robert Morris. Steve Cioccolanti sermon goes viral this week with over 100,000 views talking about the Robert Morris Scandal at Gateway Church. Robert Morris Pastor has stepped down and resigned as Senior Pastor of Gateway Church. Robert Morris Allegation include “inappropriate s3xual behavior with a young lady” more than 35 years ago while he was a young pastor after a woman named Cindy Clemishire accused him of s3xually abusing her over multiple years beginning when she was 12. His ab3se of Cindy Clemishire lasted 4.5 years and ended with Roberts removal from ministry for two years at the time. It seems at the time that Pastor Robert Morris didn’t seem to share all the details about his moral failure. He said his s3xual sin was with a “young lady” but she was only 12 years and was a young little girl. Due to this information coming to light Robert Morris steps down.

Steve Cioccolanti sermon states "we want to give people fairness and justice. A fair hearing. To our respected leaders in the church even if they are fallen. David called Saul "the lord anointed". Robert Morris has not changed. He is still the lord anointed". There is so much bad theology in the charismatic church. "Touch not my anointed" is one of the most misused verses in the whole bible. This is referring to the King of Israel which can hardly be compared to American Pastors. Touch not my anointed means to try to remove someone from ministry by force or try to physical harm them. Robert has already been removed from ministry due to moral failures. So no one could remove him. Furthermore i do not think this verse applies to the Robert Morris scandal in the New Testament church. Maybe Robert Morris could have 10 wives like David did as well?
