'FIRST STAYS IN FLORENCE, VENICE, AMSTERDAM (1990s)'
As Summer Was Cancelled Last Year, We Reminisced About Our First Stays In Some Of Our Favourite European Cities During The 1990s.
*One Of Us Suggested An Unpopular Idea That One Of These Cities Should Charge A FEE To Visit. Listen To The Reasons Why.
**As Of April 2024 A New Fee Was Introduced In That City!

*We Also Discussed A Question That Continues To Be Relevant, Regarding The Noughts And Crosses Daily Workshop In The Sky (Con Trails). We Wonder Why NO ONE Raises This Topic With ANY POLITICIANS. If There's A Response Many Of Us Want To Hear From Any Politician Running For "Leadership" Anywhere In The World It Is To This Simple Question:
"What Is Your Position On Con Trails? And What Are You Going To Do About Them?"
Pay Close Attention To The Answer.

FENTON HOUSE
*Was Originally Known As OSTEND HOUSE. Then It Became CLOCK HOUSE.
This 17th Century, Grade 2, Home And Walled Garden Landmark, Is On The West Side Of Beautiful Hampstead Grove, In Hampstead Village, North London.
*The Home Originally Belonged To A Merchant. It Was Donated To The National Trust By Lady Binning's, It's Last Occupant.
Lady Binning Was The Widow Of Brigadier-General George Baillie-Hamilton, Lord Binning (b.1856-1917).
*As With All The Visits To Public/National Homes, We Hope They Pique Your Interest To Learn More About The Individuals Who Once Lived In Them. Details In The Homes And The Owners Personal Histories, Are Part Of A Fascinating Tapestry Of A Wider World History.
*And Of Course If You Also Enjoy Landscapes, Art And Interiors, Enjoy.
